Since the person is sitting in front of his computer most of the time, he also has food in front of him, which he eats without thinking, which again may lead to food addiction.

Why Recovery From Internet Addiction Is Difficult

Internet is such a powerful technology that governments over the world are encouraging people to use more internet. Entire cities are being made Wi-Fi enabled, which makes internet access free. Now when something is available for free, people are going to abuse it and the recovery from internet addiction is going to be much more difficult. Even if you decide that you no longer will stay indoors and explore the outside world, when you go to cafes, discos, gardens, you will find internet connection there. Now do you realize why internet addiction recovery is difficult?

Another reason why internet addiction recovery has become difficult is because of our work lives. We constantly keep on checking our mails, chatting with our colleagues and exchanging files. This makes us so dependent on internet that even of we want to stay away from internet and recover from internet addiction, it becomes virtually impossible to do so.

So is there no way out? Full recovery is entirely possible; conditionally you are string willed and are willing to recover from internet addiction. Whenever there is a need to access the internet, do it just for the work purpose. If you want to check your mails, just do that. Do not go to your favorite social networking site and try to reply to your chats. This way you will never recover from internet addiction. If you are a teen, make some real friends and hangout with them, minus your laptop or your handheld mobile device. You can make and receive calls, but do not use it for sending messages and checking out your online game scores. If you follow this, then only it is possible to recover from internet addiction, there won't be any real life left for you.
